Down the Bunny Hole 24: Dogs Eating the Small Things

Welcome B-Holers to another episode of your favorite Blink-182 centric podcast! After that, they find out the official name for the plus symbol you see in math and on keyboards! Curious as to the answer? Tune in to find out!

Later on Down the Hole, the boys talk about the new Angels and Airwaves website as well as the fans reactions to the clip mentioned in the previous episode. Tune in to hear a bit of hilarity made towards a specific response on the Down the Bunny Hole Facebook page. After this, our hosts talk about the new single Paralyzed being leaked before the actual release.

Finally, all this aside, the boys get down to doing what they do best: breaking down Blink-182! So be sure to tune so you can, as always, join us Down the Bunny Hole!

Down the Bunny Hole 23: Kaleidoscope Gary

Old Song, Packie – Dysentery Gary from Enema of the State
New Song, Zach – Kaleidoscope from Neighborhoods

Welcome to another episode of Down the Bunny Hole! In today’s show, Zach starts us off talking about his new big ticket item done been purchased! After that, he reveals to Packie that Tom DeLonge made a post to his personal Instagram/Facebook page that included a small snippet from the upcoming Dream Walker album by Angels & Airwaves! Unfortunately, this file has since been taken down by Tom, but there are still clips floating around on the internet! Be sure to tune in to hear what the boys have to say about this sneak peak!

Next up, Zach goes on a rant about someone who likes to take a certain styled Fender guitar, painting it a random color, then calling it a Tom DeLonge signature series. Now, we’re no experts here on Down the Bunny Hole, but being the aficionados that we be, shit is known by our beloved hosts and Zach recalls all the hours spent staring at catalogs with these guitars inside of them, without any recollection as to these specially painted models. Just what do Packie and Zach actually have to say about this? You’ll have to listen to find out!

All this aside, the boys get down to doing what they do best: breaking down the music of the one and only Blink-182. As always, the meat and potatoes of the podcast really drives it home with some awesome stories about our parents as well as some tidbits about what the music really means. So be sure to listen and enjoy as you fall with us Down the Bunny Hole!

Down the Bunny Hole 21: A Roller Coaster of Secret Songs

Today’s Songs: Roller Coaster, Don’t Tell Me That It’s Over, The Breakup Song, and What Went Wrong.

A day late and a buck short, welcome to Episode 21 of Down the Bunny Hole! In today’s episode, Zach steals all of Packie’s songs! Don’t worry, if you remember how often Packie picked songs that Zach would eventually want, it’s pretty much justified.

The energy is high in the show as Zach brings up an amazing video titled Hitler Reacts to Blink-182’s Break Up, which can be found by clicking the very link! After which they discuss a few more vinyl issues and festival cancellations! Tune in to hear the boys discuss these topics before getting into that which they do best: breaking down Blink!

As stated before, Zach ends up picking different songs that Packie actually was planning to pick and hilarity ensues as he tries to pick a few back up songs, only to have Zach pick them as well. Join our illustrious hosts as they engage in some laughter towards this particular happenstance.

All this and so much more as you join us Down the Bunny Hole!

Down the Bunny Hole 20: Flight of the Waggy Natives and I

New Song, Zach – Natives from Neighborhoods
Boxcar Racer Song, Packie – And I
Angels & Airwaves Song, Zach – Flight of the Apollo

Welcome to a special edition of Down the Bunny Hole! In today’s episode, as is tradition with the way of the podcast, aside from breaking down the songs of Blink, Packie and Zach throw in a couple side project songs as well!

With only a small set of digression, the boys talk about some past performances of Blink-182 and how Tom’s live voice was much more preferable back in those days. Zach also talks about the process of his purchase of his Blink-182 Flag as well as the set list from the very first Blink concert he ever attended.

Down to the toast and bananas of the podcast, the boys do what they do best: break down the music! As previously stated, every tenth episode, our hosts throw in two extra songs from the side project bands. In today’s episode, Packie dips into the Boxcar Racer album and Zach rips from the LOVE pt. 1!

Down the Bunny Hole 19: Obviously Clear

Old Song, Zach: Wendy Clear from Enema of the State
New Song, Packie: Obvious from the Eponymous Album

Ladies, Gentleman, Boys, and Girls, welcome to BLodPods very own Down the Bunny Hole! In today’s episode, Packie and Zach begin the show with a bit of a jump into the 8-Bit Packiecast when Zach talks about some moments from his retro video gaming days. This segues seamlessly into a bit of Just Zach magic where Zach delves a bit into that which irritates him as well as his vinyl collection, which does often happen Down the Bunny Hole. Truth be told, we all know DTBH is basically an extension of Just Zach anyway.

Back into Blink, the boys talk about an interview they saw with Tom’s guitar tech, Doug Reesh. If you’d like to see that video, here’s a YouTube link to it! (Don’t say we didn’t ever do anything for you B-Holers) The interview itself leads into a bit of tech talk between Packie and Zach, so be sure to tune in to hear a little bit about the gear that they use.

Finally, as we journey Down the Hole, the boys get into doing what they do best: breaking down the music! As always, we have one old song and one new, so be sure to listen in to hear about that which drove our hosts to have a boner particular songs this week.

All this and more as you fall further and further Down the Bunny Hole!

Down the Bunny Hole 18: Wishing Bananas

Old Song, Packie: Toast and Bananas from Cheshire Cat
New Song, Zach: Wishing Well from Neighborhoods

Welcome everyone to another journey Down the Bunny Hole with your hosts Packie and Zach! In today’s episode, the boys start off by forgetting if they even recorded last week, but you know, when you work on such an amazing podcast, every day feels you recorded last week, so it’s hard to remember when it actually happened and when it’s just the afterglow.
Into the Blink business, Zach talks about his purchasing of the American Flag that features the Blink smiley in place of the 50 stars. Pretty cool, no? When he receives said item in the mail, pictures will certainly be posted both here and on the Down the Bunny Hole Facebook page. Packie then switches gears over towards vinyl talk and gives an update on his in-transit Neighborhoods vinyl.  Zach then reveals he too is having shipping issues with a Blink-182 program that he recently ordered.

Further down the Hole, our hosts talk about the Leeds and Reading festivals that took place over in England. Everything from the photos to Tom’s not-so-terrible-this-time singing! Tune in to hear what the boys thought about the footage they saw and heard! Also, there’s talk about a song used as the introduction to these festivals that Packie and Zach showed a particular shining towards. If you’d like to hear it for yourself, then click here on this YouTube link! Warning: NSFW. Not that we care, but you probably do.

After some more festival talks, our hosts get down the real Toast and Bananas (see what we did there) of what this show is all about: breaking down Blink-182!

All this and, as always, so much more as you journey with Packie and Zach Down the Bunny Hole!

Down The Bunny Hole 17: Dumpweed If She Falls

Old Song, Zach – Dumpweed from Enema of the State
New Song, Packie – Even If She Falls from Neighborhoods

Welcome everyone to this weeks episode of Down the Bunny Hole! Zach starts us off with a bang by making a One Direction reference…Yeah, that happens. But only for the fact that it creates the massive upswing that is this amazing Podcast! The boys talk about their finally having received the Take Off Your Pants and Jacket vinyls in the mail! Zach then talks about Blink-182 coming to Houston via a gigantic loathe-inspiring festival.

Further on Down the Hole, Packie talks about the potential mishap done up with his ordering of the Neighborhoods vinyl off of eBay. Keep your fingers crossed! Zach starts to poke fun with having two copies of this particular vinyl, which leads to Packie making a valiant attempt at confusing him in return. Tune in to enjoy the wacky banter of our beloved half-witted hosts.

As the show goes on, the boys begin to get down to business and break down Blink! Check it out to hear them discuss the magic behind the most quality song choice to open an album and concert, as well as Packie finally making good on picking the one song we’ve all been waiting for!

All this and so much more as you join us Down the Bunny Hole!

Down the Bunny Hole 16: Hope’s All Gone

Old Song, Packie – A New Hope from Dude Ranch
New Song, Zach – Heart’s All Gone from Neighborhoods

Welcome everyone to another episode of Down the Bunny Hole! This weeks episode starts off strong with a bit of discussion about Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic Park, and a seamless segue right into Blink-182! Naturally, this leads to a discussion about vinyls and how Zach is so close to completing his Blink-182 vinyl collection! Packie talks about how there’s a local record store (which he incorrectly names) and how excited he is to go peruse their wares.

Further down the Hole, Zach reveals some updated Blink-182 news about the recording of their next album! Granted, yes this was actually from about 3 weeks ago, but at the time, it was hot off the press! Tune in to hear what Mark Hoppus has to say about the upcoming 8th studio record by Blink-182.

After a brief digression about Chlamydia, the boys get into breaking down Blink. Tune in to hear Packie do what he does best by tearing down the walls of his song choice to reveal a potentially deeper meaning behind the lyrics. Also, Zach chooses a song too…

…Which you should totally listen to hear him discuss, because Neighborhoods is such a brilliant display of the triumphant return of Blink-182 and Zach hits that perfectly by choosing a song from this album.

All this and so much more as we venture Down the Bunny Hole!

Down The Bunny Hole 15: Untitled Charmer

Old Song, Zach – Untitled from Dude Ranch
New Song, Packie – Snake Charmer from Neighborhoods

Welcome boys and girls to yet another episode of Down the Bunny Hole! The only podcast that breaks down Blink-182 and their beloved music that has grown with us throughout the years. In today’s episode, Zach talks a lil’ bit about how excited he is that he’ll be able to spoil his nephew with Blink and guitars when he comes of age. Packie furthers it by relating to his nephew with Angels & Airwaves.

Further on down the hole, new vinyls are afoot! The boys discuss a repress of We Don’t Need to Whisper by Angels & Airwaves on pink/purple vinyl and Packie really wants to find a way to get this album! Zach does too, but he already owns it via the AVA Gold Package, so it’s not as important to him.

As time goes by, discussions are abound of Zach sharing with Packie the band Less Than Jake, which Packie does, in fact, enjoy quite thoroughly. The beauty of it is that this only further solidifies the parallels betwixt our beloved hosts.

After all this, the two get down to the real meat and potatoes of the podcast: breaking down the music! Tune in to hear Packie and Zach do what they do best on the greatest podcast to ever break down Blink!

All this and so much more as you traverse Down the Bunny Hole! Don’t trip and fall. #LikeBLodPods
